Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the breathless moments we take.
Walk on the Wild Side is a breathless haven.
The welcoming relaxing expanse of green in a brown sea.
The burst of exciting yellow pots of gold flowers
The call of bugling elk celebrating life.
The coo of foraging quail along the deck.
The cool breeze off the tinkling river.
The laughing racing ducks dancing upstream.
The spiritual calm of the meditation tent.
The glorious sunrises welcoming the morning.
The rivers mist shrouding the landscape.
The magnificent sunsets celebrating the night.
The expanse of diamond stars across the velvet sky.
The relaxing quiet of the nights.
The warm beautifully set delicious meals.
The camaraderie of laughing guests and friends.
The stories of far away places around campfires.
The neighbors stately horses.
The herds of deer bounding through the brush.
The stalking lazy coyote, the circling hawks.
The fussing magpie, the stately eagle…….
Breathless moments don’t end at Walk on the Wild Side

Another wonderful day & night in the Call of the Wild room. Bill was so full of interesting information about the STV/Snowmobile trails. We had fun even in the cold and rain bits. We come to stay here every year when we stay in Boise. We have met wonderful people here and we love to bring friends so they can experience the property, Bill and Martha. Kathy & J.R. Our 1st B&B and what an awesome 1st! Martha and Bill have a sense of hospitality second to none. The food was the “best”. Conversations were never ending, but we also had the privacy. Upstairs Arabian Nights room was like having our own home. Thank you, thank you for making our 1st a great memory for both of us. And what a great start! So we will be back!!! Greatest hospitality ever – and new wonderful friends Martha & Bill! We will be back soon. Regards Dave & Patricia
Dear Bill and Martha – I have had an amazing time at your beautiful space. Thanks so much for the Arabian Nights room, the delicious food, the cozy campfire under the full moon and most of all the drive to Packer John! I will get a hint for the geocache so you can get it next time! Much Love. Sandy Ware
We are so glad we visited the Walk on the Wild Side. An awesome time we had with you, Bill & Martha. Your home is so restful, quiet and decorated so beautifully. Love it! The Mt. scenery is superb. This is a wonderful place to relax, renew and to reflect on the beauty of life & all our blessings. Yum! Breakfast was so so delicious. Your hospitality was over & above. In our book, you 2 should get way over 5 stars. Thanks for such a nice visit & the nifty flashlights. Hope to see you again. Alex & Rosie Z. Boise, ID.
